Another Elizabeth hair color change...

In the new American Girl Quiz book, which I received today from overstock.com, Elizabeth's hair was changed to blonde in the 2 pictures on page 9. That's another indicator that they're changing her hair color in all the books. So if you like Elizabeth as a brunette, you'd better buy up all the old editions now before the new ones come out and replace them.

You know, if they went back to making Felicity's hair the original "copper penny" color, then Elizabeth wouldn't have looked so much like Felicity and this whole thing about changing her appearance could have been avoided. (Although personally, I like the change because now she will probably look just like me.)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've said before (and I think someone also heard from the Company) that the real reason was that she would look too similar to Samantha (who half of little girls already have) and then Ruthie next year (and Kit's much more popular than Felicity, and therefore she will probably sell better than Elizabeth based on the fact that more people have Kit). The Felicity thing was only an excuse. And a bad excuse, at that.

However, it would be really nice if they changed Felicity's hair color back ANYWAY.

But, I wonder if I would really be alone in demanding a new wig for my Felicity purchased last year.

Cami yes, I remeber reading about that too. Of course now I heard Emily Molly's friend might be the new doll next year. Rest assured for Kit fans I am postive Ruthie WILL come out soon although no one can say when. She will be pretty populer. I am not a huge fan of Elizabeth with blond hair nothing personal. I am just not a huge fan of blond dolls.

I know this is unlikely to happen, but I would much prefer to see both Linda and Susan made for Molly's friends than Emily. I just am not a fan of the Emily charcter. I hope if they do that they make her much more likeable in her companion book. Linda and Susan are Molly's real best friends, and they play a much bigger role in her series than Emily does, but I guess a three-doll "best friends set" would be a pretty tough sell.
